As some of you might know, I
SPOTTED a pod of three manatees in the canal on Sunday. I thought it was a big deal and even contacted the local TV news about it. Turns out those manatees are regulars. Anyway, check out the post I made and maybe you can go manatee watching if you are in Broward County.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING list.

Dammit, why can't the liberals with money help out? Oh please sink more dollars into this money pit that no one listens to.
To: PJ-Comix
Maybe the DUmmies will start a petition to force people to listen to AAR.

Glad the manatees are ok. I was in Florida a couple years ago canoeing on a river there. They told us if we saw manatees we should not approach them, but if the manatees came to us we could touch them. We saw a few going upriver and cleverly positioned our canoe in their path. ;-) I got to touch a juvenile as it swam by.

They used to be 1299 on the dial, maybe they still are, but I can't get them there anymore. There's a better reception on 1300 but that carries Ed Schultz instead of Randi ~ and after 6PM you really can't get a good reception until about 8PM in the morning ~Can anyone explain this to me(?), because I'm baffled. The FCC would never hand out two AM stations 1kHz apart (1299 and 1300 on the dial), +they're done in 10kHz increments, and usually even then with space between them. And what kind of equipment did this guy use to tune to 1299kHz?
Also, what the hell is "8PM in the morning?"

Do you expect Randi Rhodes to broadcast her show al fresco in Central Park I hadn't had my coffee yet, so for a moment I confused "al fresco" with "au naturel"....

The Err Amerikkka saga is never ending high comedy and would make a great case study for any business school on how NOT to build a business. HBO did a documentary on them that was funnier than "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Seeing them ripped off and lied to by one of their own is stuff you just can't write. Election night 2004 was going to be the crowning achievement of the "network", and to see them all distraught, crying, etc. was great fun.

Air America Losing It's Flagship Station???? It's even sadder when you realize that the "flagship" was a rusted, leaky dinghy in the first place...

It would be hard to keep handing out the cash and never seeing a return on the investment. Ok, now that you've learned Capitalism 101, try extrapolating the same thought to the billions uopn billions of tax dollars the government "invests" into failed social programs.
