Pakistan Air Force: Operation Strike Hard
INDOlink short stories ^ | NA | Nisith Vasavada

I was just googling "f-14 strait of hormuz dogfight" looking for old news article when Khaddafi's air force challenged  F-14's in the Strait of Hormuz.

What I ended up reading is an interesting short story of a crazy but influential Pakistani former ace pilot now head of secret Inter-Service Intelligence duped specially picked Pakistan air force pilots with his cleverly forged orders signed supposedly by the Pakistani Prime Minister thirty minutes before they took off to do preemptive strike on India's nuclear sites.

The USN (F-14) and Libyan Mig-21's and Su-22's (Qaddafi) had conflicts in the Gulf of Sidra not the Straits of Hormuz -
