Clinton people undermining national security and selling off secrets again

I posted recently about the recent loss of one of America's premier telecom infrastructure companies to the French - the Alcatel/Lucent merger. Not only is this merger harmful to our economy and American jobs, but it poses a national security risk. France is no friend of America and borders on being a threat to this country. This merger poses a risk that is just as great as the recent attempt to sell port operations to the Arab Emirates.

Lucent has a Bell Labs division that does super sensitive work for our government and military. To placate concerns over American secret projects being handed over to the French, the companies said they planned to form a separate, independent American subsidiary holding contracts with U.S. government agencies. The unit would be separately managed by a board of three U.S. citizens acceptable to the U.S. government.

In my earlier post, I laughed off this measure to assuage any concerns over this blatant security breach. It's a joke. Now, I have found more info on this whole deal that should send up red flags. The 3 U.S. citizens that will oversee the unit working on top secret American projects are all from a presidential administration famous for handing over our nation's secrets to foreign governments. If you guessed that the 3 people I'm talking about are Clinton folks, you're right. That might also explain the lack of an outcry from the Democrats and media on this merger. A merger, as I stated earlier, that is even more harmful to national security than the ports' deal was.

So who are the 3 people entrusted to make sure the French don't breach our national security?

William Perry - Secretary of Defense under Clinton.

James Woolsey - CIA director under Clinton.

Kenneth Minihan - NSA director under Clinton.

It's bad enough to lose a company that is critical to America's communication infrastructure to a hostile foreign country. Worse, when this company is working on projects that are highly sensitive to this nation's security. The icing on the cake is entrusting Clintonistas with oversight over our nation's secrets.

If the ports deal made you mad, this one should have steam coming out of your ears.

This deal stinks to high heaven.

"Pimp" his own blog? Choose your words more carefully. I thought any Clinton-bashing was welcome. God knows we don't get enough of that on FR. Not much else to talk about, is there?

Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps he will stay around and actually discuss the topic - what his blog proposes is blocking technical mergers with French companies on national security grounds. That's a bad idea even if couched in Clinton bashing.

Another sell out of America. They should be deported along with all of the illegals.

I'll check back later. If the "Dawg" has indeed posted and ran I will offer my apologies.

No need for apology, its just us talking - but I thought I picked up a pattern - signed up less than 4 hours and only one total post to his own blog with a bunch of ads...but then I'm a serious cynic. :)
