Iran is not an Arab country, it's Persian. Totally different from the Arab states. The Arabs are tied to Iran only by the oil and the religion they share.
As businessmen for the most part, the Arabs are mmore intersted in making money than solidarity with the Iranians simply because of religion.
The Saudi family knows the threat that Iran poses to it's survival, and will not support Iran if attacked by the US. now if Israel does it is another matter. All the Arabs states will see it as an attack on Islam, and probably side with Iran, although they would rather not, as a sign of solidarity. The US will do the hitting, simply because we would have the clout to ignore the UN, which undoubtedly will scream the loudest, and the support of Israel and probably the Sauds in stopping Iran. After all. a nuclear Iran is a threat to all the gulf states, not just Israel
