Imagine if the Pope had, instead of sort-of apologizing, quoted from this to strengthen his position!

Someone prominent needs to call these folks out on their history, knock them over their heads with it and then make them answer for it!

(And it would help if that prominent someone has a strong security detail and national army to back him)
