Chris Cilliza of the WaPo reports that Gore, who has steadfastly refused to admit an interest in another run at the White House, received his first public inside-the-Beltway support yesterday. In a Wednesday appearance on C-SPAN, Rep. James Moran (D-Va.) said Gore should enter the race. Call me crazy, but I think that's already happened in Al's mind. I believe he has seen Hillary's declining popularity with Democratic grassroots, and thinks that's his route to the top of the lib heap. He's going to run to her left. That's why, I believe, he's really picked up the rhetoric lately. If he keeps this up, he could garner support from the Deaniacs and left-wing blogosphere (an increasingly important Democratic constitutency). And he'd have one thing going for him that Dean missed....experience. Plus, he actually invented the Internet - so he should know a few things about 21st century politics. He could not be dismissed as some kook governor from a small state. He might properly be labeled a kook after his Saudi Arabian bit, but that's a different story.

Not a pray. Not even make it out of the primary. NO one is ever going to let his near terasonist speech in Saudi Arabia a couple of months ago.
....and Dukakis and Mondale.
...and maybe George McGovern.

I hope so!
BTW, welcome to FR.
"He's picked up at least one supporter."
