I think we know what is going on, however, the world's goverments seem powerless and/or unwilling to stop it. What is going on is global jihad, the quest for world domination by the Islamofacists. It will be distressing to see how many more free lance terror acts like the one at the NC University will occur here.
The cartoon jihad did it for me. I had a last little iota of faith that "most muslims are moderate" in my heart. It's gone and now I truly don't care either. Europe better stand up to them, we may have to consider amending our constitution, this likely will be a very long war and it may lead to incalculable blood shed.
Bush screwed up big time by not calling out the culprits by name on 9/11. His kind and conciliatory words have fallen on deaf ears throughout the world.

The ones at the top in this country make the mistake of equating their religious beliefs to those of the enemy, trying to find a common ground. They're kidding themselves. That book they hold holy is as evil as it gets.
