Once again, we can take heart in the rightness of our efforts by seeing who hate us. Here is a work from People's Weekly World and written by John Conyers, Jr., Ranking Democrat on the Judiciary.
If the communists liked us and if the democrats liked us and if the death lovers liked us we should be worried indeed.
And they plucked this from their pals at dailykos at that.
Why we act

Well, fancy that, the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee writing for the Communists. Where have you gone, Joe McCarthy!
Here is how PWW describes itself. (Evidently the McCarthyite "Reign of Terror" is over in this country because they brag about what was once regarded as sedition.)
The Peoples Weekly World / Nuestro Mundo is a national, grassroots weekly newspaper and the direct descendant of the Daily Worker....
The PWW is known for its partisan coverage. We take sides for truth and justice. We are partisan to the working class, racially and nationally oppressed peoples, women, youth, seniors, international solidarity, Marxism and socialism. We enjoy a special relationship with the Communist Party USA, founded in 1919, and publish its news and views.

PWW (Conyers): "...the tragic Terri Schiavo case..."
They ALWAYS call it "tragic" because they support a tragic result: Terri's death. It's like saying, with the bioethicists, "This is a tragic case. Kill her!"

Check this out some time:
NDE site takes surprising stand in favor of euthanasia (Look under the heading "NDEs and Suicide.") You would think a site that foresees life after death would pay some attention to God's law and especially to the price of violating God's law. But no. One entry on euthanasia, another on vegetative state (badly misinformed about Terri), yet another long essay arguing the case for "right to die" that focuses, again, on Terri.
Major Puke alert. This is straight out of the Hemlock Society handbook.

Re: Why We Act. Conyers is just a typical Democrat, and maybe a "fellow traveler". Life is not a popularity contest, and I'm as stubborn as they come. I'd rather stand up as best I can for what I believe in, than be popular. Maybe Mr. Conyers might want to explore that approach.
