Well, presumably. That’s the intent of open government laws but government has been going to extreme lengths to stymie the public and press from learning information about governmental operations that the public has a right and need to know.

When I began the practice of neurology, a quarter of a century ago, I often saw children with Down’s syndrome. Now, there are none. As the only neurologist who sees children in a 300 mile radius of a very rapidly growing metropolitan area, I’ve not seen a single case in 2 years. Genetic testing has ensured that virtually all Down’s children are aborted during pregnancy, despite the fact that many children with Down’s syndrome have normal intelligence. Pro-life obstetricians have largely disappeared from US medicine. With the exception of the handful of Obstetricians and Gynecologists physicians in the American Association of Pro Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, they are now in other walks of life. They left the practice a long time ago.

I've heard of policies where employees will donate their vacation time to a co-worker in need. It's cool, and a completely generous thing to do. I don't know if you could say that MS took his honeymoon on the taxpayer's dime, because someone would have used that particular day themself. He sure did miss a lot of work though. Good thing he has a sympathetic employer./s

Personally, I think Mikey got the heads up that the policies in question were going to be implemented, and so he and Jodi got married before that happened. They all know that they're under the microscope for their parts in Terri's murder. They can't afford to provide any info. Sooner or later, even a Kennedy can be arrested/indicted.
