You're right, and Bush is, and continues to be, under an incredible amount of pressure from global business interests. Maintaining a "vibrant global econonmy" and all that.

In my opinion, all these high roller Evangelical pastors who have such unprecedented access to the White House should be moderating this; ethics and principles; longterm national and cultural security being balanced with our part—and Israel's—part in a global economy.
