Every year in April we visit Solvang, California, for a few days. It's a small Danish community that has the look and feel of Denmark, settled by immigrants in the early 20th century. They have delicious authentic danish treats and the restaurant food is wonderful. Lots of imported Danish stuff, too. Google Solvang and get information for a trip there.
