There is a law in Mass. that makes it necessary to carry morning after pills at all drug stores.

The controversy seems to hinge on the meaning of "commonly prescribed" in a Massachusetts statute or regulation requiring pharmacies to carry all "commonly prescribed" medications.

Do the states that enact these laws indemnify the pharmacies from lawsuits by their customers?

Pharmacy may have to carry this medecine, but why should a pharmacist necessessarily be forced to deliver it, sometimes against his religion?
