Before I send this letter to as many U.S. newspapers as I possibly can, I would like to get the opinions of the very intelligent and very insightful members of this great forum. I am not being flattering in those remarks and would hold your comments in very high regard. Please let me know if I should add or remove anything, or if I'm am just being a blowhard and need not submit it at all.

Thank you all, and may your day be blessed with many rewards.

And BTW, I understand that we have, as a nation and in the course of diplomacy, made the preceding statements many times. I just feel it is the right time to set these principles down in legislation. Maybe even enact an Amendment to the Constitution that makes such a statement of support. Yes, it's bold, it is risky, but we are in a position to not only carry out such support but, I feel, compelled to as a nation.

I think it's a great letter. You might take another look at this sentence: "We are compelled by justice and moral righteousness...." Specifically the words "moral righteousness".

I'd try to say that in a different way - not because it isn't true, but because it offers an opportunity for the naysayers and demagogues to muddy the water.

Your letter is supperb and I hope all Americans read it. The only problem I foresee with your truly noble and just idea will be your ability break through the media filter.

Here is one way.

You have to try and put yourself in the shoes of those who control the dissimination of information. You have to realize their thoughts and predict their actions. Feeling superior as they do is not the hard part when dealing with them. Realizing that these people, meaning the MSM, are liberal, self-righteous, self-appointed gatekeepers of all information they deem fit to enter into "their" publicly contolled debate. Simple put, their aint a chance in hell the news outlets you email your letter to will publish it. Once you accept that then you can try another approach. I have been working on a formula if you will on how to get the MSM to take our values seriously and to publish letters like your more often. I have come up with a broad outline of what steps will be needed to be taken. The methods and details can be debated and tried. So here it goes...

1. The media is a political party and their ideology forces them to perform as a political intity. This means when a journalist writes a story, they are writing to their readers and fellow journalists. They are communicating umungst themselves about issues they find important. The objective for you will be to enter into this conversation with them and gain their attention by what they respond to most often. Pure mentions. Once in...

2. Once inside the echo chamber, be very aware of your role which can very with scope and time. Become familiar with words, phrases, comments and mediphors that will expose you as thoughtful, patriotic, selfless and morally grounded with principles that guide your soul. This is not a joke. These are the characteristics they utterly dispise. So phrases like "spreading freedom and democracy is our moral obligation." or, "democracy is a gift to all humanity given to them by their own creator." Try not to use the words freedom, terrorist, radical islam, liberal and avoid all religiously affiliated references. This will be a tough task but it's doible.

3. Recognize and show favor to all the things they find important. The most important is always abortion [a womans right to choose]. Then you have sexual orientations, anti-Americanism, anti-family, anti-christianianity, anti-capitalism and anti-anything a conservative. Remember what they look for isn't successful idea on issues. They want proposals that are intended in some way to help the poor and down-troddant. Results arent important. What they propose and how good it make them feel is all that matters to them.

4. Without compromizing any of your principle, it will be nessicary to fabricate, and even promote things you know will curry favor with them for you.
