Today was the last day of the American democracy. It died today.

Isn't that a standing post on Kos?

I recall seeing that there when Bush was elected/the SCOTUS decision came down; 9-11 ("Bush will impose martial law."; when Congress voted to allow the invasion of Afghanistan; ditto Iraq; when we actually invaded iraq; the midterm election when the dems fell on their faces; when W won re-election; when W's tax cuts went through (tax cuts for the rich, the beginning of the end for social security); when W signed the faith-based initiative bill ("The rise of the theocrcy" or whatever); the UN vote on Iraq; when Rove wasn't indicted; when Roberts was confirmed; when Bolton was confirmed...

I'm sure I missed something, but be advised, I'm not just rattling off all the things W did that they hate--I'm serious, they said the same thing all these times.

"Today was the last day of the American democracy. It died today."

I guess Kos has to be a drama queen in order to get people to read his stuff.

According to them, it's only democracy when they are running it.
