I was just responding to someone who thought I shouldn't have posted it. agreed, not a new idea by any means. only that several factors, including the timing of the release of the tape, make this scenario a little more possible, in my mind anyway.
One question though, do you feel nothing will happen because nothing is being attempted or that we will stop them (again)? I agree with the latter, not the former. Ask the people of London if Bin Laden was just "pointlessly ranting".

Bin Laden said nothing about London. And a "prediction" years old does not count.
Al Queda's ability to produce another incident like 9/11 inside this nation is gone. It can blow up a couple of car bombs like in Iraq but that is about it. But should something like that happen it would produce a response they would not like.
OBL, the great strategist, believed that 9-11 would draw the US onto his home court where we would be defeated. This turkey could not be more wrong. And he paid for it with his life.
