which means balding is a good thing
That's a truism. They win if they reestablish the caliphate and conquer the world. Some things it is right to be afraid of. The trick is not to knuckle under to fear and to keep doing your duty. And my primary duty is not shopping and going to football games. Que sera, sera.
I just started to get into NFL Europe last season. I see the first game is on March 18... cool! Go Centurions!!
I think the cake is ready to eat. All it would take is one little match and everything could go up in flames. As a poster yesterday noted, terror is congealing into states. Hamastan, Iran, Syria, even Venezuela and Mexico. The blood in the streets is going to happen. Only a question of when and where.
Oh-another thing. The Superbowl IS a big deal. Imagine how many people would be freaked out by watching the unthinkable happen. Al Qaeda can't "blow up" America but as an article earlier this year or last? about a hard drive that was found in Afgan. that had Al Qaeda crap on it talked about taking down America by its economy and by basically scaring the hell out of us. People would be paralized by fear. On one hand we lament how Americans (some of them) are geting complacent and wimpy in this war-wow-this could hurt us-I do think we would rise up (after some sickos blame Bush for making the bad guys mad)...
That is a term I have not heard for 20 years, since Camp Pendleton, Ca.
I was stopped by the phrase "in the heart of your land."
Would that be heartland? Is detroit considered the midwest, or in the heartland?
It could be the Super Bowl, it could be the SOTU, it could be the Sears Tower on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. This is something to think about. Myself, I don't like to be in big crowds. :) I went to a Texans game this year. Crowds weren't a problem.
I should hope that if we get hit again, the leftists will be stomped down.
Piss be upon him?
Pork butts under him?
Pusilanimous big ugly hemmorrhoid?
Previously buried under hogshit?
I give up.
I knew that posting this was an open invitation for comments like "Good Year Blimb", "Jack Bauer", "another conspiracy theory", etc... That's fine. But I'm curious...how many of you knew all of that about Adnan El Shukrijumah? The UO bomber? The nuclear waste stolen from McMaster Univerity? I didn't. It just doesn't add up for me sometimes when the govt tells us to be vigilant, aware, etc... and then seems to do its best to downplay anything of real substance. BTW I don't see this as a conspiracy theory. I'm just simply making a specific application to what the President said yesterday, that Bin Laden's words should be taken very seriously.
In terms of population growth, who knows. But it would be a fairly easy place to hid as a terrorist.
Envy is one of the seven deadly sins!
Given prevailing winds, etc., an attack on Detroit would really be more of an attack on Canada. I'm guessing they wouldn't want to lose Canadian support, so it is unlikely that Detroit would be considered a good target.
Where's the next superbowl?
Maybe they are targeting this game..
If the Steelers were as "bad" as they think they are, terrorists would never think of attacking them.
I take it you're not an American...football fan.
BTW, have you heard this one? Bill Cowher died and went to heaven. The angel escorted him around and said, "I'll take you to your mansion." Cowher smiled as he saw a beautiful two-story house, with a green yard, all decked out in Steelers colors.
Then he noticed a mansion on the hill---a gigantic home, gleaming with jewels, flying Dallas Cowboy flags and colors.
"Hey, why does Bill Parcells get a house like that and I get this one?" Cowher asked.
"That isn't Parcells' house," the angel replied.
"It's God's house."
Glad I live in West Michigan.
