To: Right Wing Assault
Google already censors info in this country if they don't like the content. I use Clusty. Seems to do the job just fine.

So they have started their foray into information control for Americans? I seem to recall a remark about one of their big shots saying that he wants to make sure only "good" or "the right" information gets to Google users. That's quite all right, I'll just use Dogpile and Mapquest (instead of Google and maps.google.com) from now on...

They also plan (or are currently doing it) to rate their search results based on 'quality', which means if it's from CBS it is high quality, but if it is from a conservative site, that is low quality. All you have to do is click through 150,000 hits to find the story.
