Well I do know of a mod of Operation Flashpoint based on Stargate which is still being worked on.

As I recall a Babylon 5 game was also scrubbed years ago, but a nice freeware flight simulator exists. Goto ifh.firstones.com if you want a starfighter simulator that gives rotation and translation in all three dimensions and doesn't ignore physics.
