The battle lines have are being drawn and the scene is nearly set for what could become the watershed moment in the Global War on Terror. Iran had been very vocal in its desire to see Israel wiped off the face of the map and has hosted a conference to discuss what they call the “myth of the holocaust”.
Recent defiance of the United Nations’ INEA sends a clear message that they will not be restrained by the West in their quest to become a nuclear power. Iran’s recent withdrawal of its funds from European banks is clearly a move at neutering possible United Nations Sanctions. The inability of the United Nations to reign in Saddam Hussein has given other rogue states a playbook when it comes to their implementation of sanctions and resolutions.
Perhaps the West should look back over the past two decades and reflect on the impotence the. . .
