"Despite a host of new public health initiatives targeting heart disease and its aggravating factors, such as diabetes, inadequate physical activity and obesity, sudden cardiac death is a major concern with the majority of deaths occurring in apparently healthy people." We always hear exercise helps prevent hear attacks but how much is too much? Many of those I've heard of having them weren't all that old, exercised vigorously, didn't smoke etc and were in otherwise good health while you'll find scores of invalids living into their nineties.
It may be that some exercise is far better than none but I think most of it involves genetics, which is why this advancement in early detection is exceptionally good news.
