Tell a friend about this petition AMERICANS FOR BETTER PUBLIC EDUCATION PETITION

America's public education system is failing our children and making them less competitive in today's 21st Century global economy.

Our public education system is a government run monopoly controlled by Teacher's Unions, bureaucrats, and political correctness.

It's time America's parents reclaim ownership of public education from the government and its ruling class so every child has an opportunity to live the American dream. For in America, public education can be the great equalizer for our children.

It's time to break down the government's monopoly of public education and integrate a free market system into the public school system. Competition and openness will breathe new life into public education and make our children more competitive internationally.

We can do this by using a tool the government likes to use...the anti-trust lawsuit.

The government uses anti-trust lawsuits to break up monopolies and open competition in the private sector everyday. Why shouldn't parents in America use that same tool to break up the government monopoly in education?

Therefore, I the undersigned do hereby pledge my support to American's for Better Public Education's call for a class action anti-trust lawsuit against the government in an effort to break up the government's monopoly of public education in America.

Parents don't bother keeping up a PTO in their kids' schools. Parents can't be bothered to make sure homework is done, much less help their kids with it. Parents dress their kids like strippers and gangstas and wonder why kids act out. Parents don't teach respect. Yet, when Johnny can't read or acts out Columbine II, it's the school's fault.

There is some truth to that however the majority of parents do keep up with their kids, dress their kids correctly, teach respect, etc.

Did you watch Stossel's report on 20/20? I highly recommend it - "Educrats" are the problem.
