I know this has probably been answered before, but how do I recover a job that was almost complete? I had to reboot and lost everything.

The client should have picked up from the last checkpoint, which means if you didn't change any of the setting, the most you lost was 15-60 minutes worth of work.

Which version of the client are you using. The GUI based, or the console?

In either case, find the folder in which the program is running, and then look for a file called fahlog.txt.

Copy and past the last 30 or so lines here, and we can look and see what has happened, or is happening.

Also, with the GUI client, it sometimes takes a bit for it to recover from a hard crash.

The .txt file I referenced, will show you this. The program needs to check the fah_xxcore.exe files, verify that the data up to the checkpoint is still ok, check in with Mama, to make sure that it still wants the job processed, then does some other "behind the scenes" twists and turns, before it resumes.

I've seen this take up to 30 minutes before. If all else fails, and it looks like the client hasn't resumed, manually stop it, and restart. Sometimes that will do the trick.
