In an interview posted today on the Web, documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles claims that his appearance in Mike Wilson's documentary Michael Moore Hates America is cobbled together from "stolen" footage obtained without his consent and he has contacted his lawyer about the matter because the filmmakers "misrepresented themselves."

Unedited video footage released by the documentary filmmakers soon after this story broke prove that Albert Mayles is lying. Click on this link to read analysis and watch the unedited video for yourself (clip requires Apple Quicktime).

Is it just me or do the leftists constantly steal from the right? Then proceed to lie to "make" their case.

To the best of my knowledge it has been proved that Moore in fact did lots of distortions.

Another recent example, I heard an Air America employee complain that the religious right uses the courts to make laws -- when? where? To the best of my knowledge the religious right is constantly in court defending against the leftist pukes.

Then there's the years-old constant cacophony, screaming of "Bush lied" and worse. Who's was proved to be a liar? Who paid court-ordered fines for lying? Who lost his license for lying?

Lenin and Stalin would be proud.

I would personally have a difficult time telling an interviewer from the media: "I didn't know anything about 'X' before I commented on camera" when there is unedited video proving that I did know about 'X' but then again, if I knew the interviewer would never challenge me I'd probably do it all the time.

My point above (#2) was that every time I tune in Air America or read anything like DU it's deja vu.

I've heard / read this before -- but this time it's Moore's critic that's distorting and lying; it's George Bush that's the liar; it's the right wing that has a history of using the courts to make laws; it's the right that name-calls; it's the right that restricts free speech. . . .

Which reminds me.

Bill O'Reilly totally exposed the left's casual practice of just throwing crap out there -- why not, they've controlled the MSM for so long they never before were questioned.

"They restrict my speech all the time," said Rat hack Bob Beckel and moving on to another subject leaving the little pile of crap for all to see.

"They?" asked O'Reilly. "Who? Name one, Bob."

Uh..uh. Well. Oh, gee there are hundreds.. Uh. hmm.. uh. Uh, uh..well, hmmm. . . .

"Name one Bob. I've heard sixteen uh's, well's but no names. Name one Bob."

After another minute or two of uh's, well's, hmmm's Beckel blurted out the name of a well-known preacher and O'Reilly let him go. Beckel was drowning in eggs -- and crap.

Maysles was forced to say this. Moore had threatened to sit on him if he didn't.
