Jim Hightower nearly got killed by fire ants while Agricultural Commissioner of Texas when he stuck his whole arm into a fire ant hole for some stupid reason.

Randi is as passionate about her cause as Rush is to his. Only problem, America is not buying her message. Randi is more committed and SHOULD be committed.
If I understood a WSJ article from around 2 years ago, she made a threat on her radio program that someone ought to take the president out back and shoot him.
I am very GRATEFUL that America does not buy her message.

"A spoiled child (Bush) is telling us our Social Security isn't safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here's your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of 4 gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little b*stard. [audio of gun being cocked]." -- A "humor bit" from the Randi Rhodes show

Hmmm... According to a Texas Monthly article, it was actually Hightower's opponent in the Texas Agriculture Commissioner race in 1982 who stuck his arm in a fire ant mound. Apparently the comical results helped Hightower win that election.

I remember when I read that Palestinian people believe that Jews killed Palestinian children and made them into soup. I thought that was the worst brain-washing I had ever heard of. Until now.

Ain't that the truth. I've often wondered about people like this. How can they live, and be happy, believing the world is so hopelessly evil as this? Of course there's evil in the world, but to believe stuff like this, levees being blown up, 9/11 being staged by our own government, and all out vote rigging, what possible hope could anyone have? The only answer that I can see is mental illness. And they do talk about the meds they're on and their doctors/shrinks/social workers. It's about the only thing that can account for their fears. Their paranoia is out of control.

I remember when I read that Palestinian people believe that Jews killed Palestinian children and made them into soup. I thought that was the worst brain-washing I had ever heard of. Until now. I think some of this is politics/propoganda. Some is mental illness. And some is their spiritual darkness. They're in deep doo-doo when they believe the voices in their heads.

Here is the lastest post on that DUmmie thread that was posted after I published this DUFU edition:
Life begins at conception and ends at birth for Republicans. Incredibly depraved party. Once the child is born, they become quinea pigs for the corporations. What the f*ck is happening in this county? Why isn't every major newspaper in the USA covering this story???????
[Um....maybe because the story is NOT true. But have no fear. I'm sure that at least one of the usual suspects in the MSM will publish this phony story as fact.]

I don't count Olberman as MSM -- I assumed he was the crackpot Hightower got his "info" from.

Wow! For the first time since I've been on this list I get a thread where the DUmmie logic squad (all 2 members) came out in force to dispute DUmmie gospel on a thread.
This made for very interesting reading.

"Because EPA had been caught supporting tests in which children were intentionally dosed with pesticides, congress mandated in August that the agency issue a rule permanently banning such pesticide tests, without exception."
Would that be the REPUBLICAN congress that took this action? Who appointed the EPA officials?

Occasionally I'll listen to Air American on XM just to see how unhinged the left really is. Same here...and it is about as scarey as going over to the DUmp. I can't imagine listening to that garbage and taking it to heart like so many (unfortunately) do! Incredible!

I can't get over the blatant lies they spew which are very easily discredited, as if saying them often enough make their statements true.

I remember Hightower and his radio program, it was awful. We used to listen to him and laugh. He had very few callers and was left sitting there alone trying to fill the air.
Mr Ditter remembers him getting into some kind of trouble when he was Sec. of Ag here in Texas but can't remember details. Something about contributers to his campaign.
