I've sometimes wondered why, as is often claimed, Lennon was the musical genius of the Beatles, his solo career was so poor why Paul McCartney has cranked out so many hits over the years.

Agreed, Paul was the hitmaker post-Beatles, but we're coming up on that time of the year that reminds us that both Paul and John could suck equally--Christmas. Both of them wrote absolutely horrid Christmas songs.
