I disagree vehemently. Any of the three would do much better than Hillary Clinton in the South.

Out of the three, McCain would score best, but still come up short.
HRC would beat the other two. Vehement reactions aside, this is the reality of it.
If Mike Pence doesn't throw his hat into the G.O.P. '08 race, then George Allen is the only one contending that can, and would, decisively turn back HRC.

You're completely wrong. HRC would lose the South to Guiliani, McCain or Rice. Actually, she'd lose to any Republican.

HRC won't beat any Republican up against her. The reality of the situation is, the Democrats are controlled by the kook fringe left, along with their leader Dean. If HRC "plays to the middle", which she will most certainly do, the largest portion of the Democrat party; that being the moveon.org types, and the anti-war, pro-abort kook fringe left, will not supoort her.
