Certified Terror Friendly.
I seem to remember a bunch of antiwar protests in Jordan right when the war began, and the government not having any problem with it.
The circumstances that led to our decision to go to war against global terror were tragic too, join the club Jordan.
How different people's reactions are to an attack. The US, Britts, Aussies, and now Jordan, solidify their strength and try to attack back. Spain run away. French, who appeased the attackers, was still attacked albeit in a different form. True to their instict... the reaction was to appease even more.
But let us not get to euphoric. We must remember this is the government's proclamation, not neccessarily the will of a large part of the Jordanian population who classify Israel and the US as their enemies. But the King has at least made the statement that points a finger at all radical Islamo groups. Of course he has in essence did that already. And as we know he does try to put down any internal Islamofacists disorder as it pops its head up. And he has allowed us to use his soil to train Iraqi army and police recruites etc.. I do realize we provide much needed financial aid as well as military hardware to him. So perhaps he will actually become a more active partner at this point. Time will tell as usual.
