Some Palestinians have second thoughts about indiscriminate suicide killings after 27 West Bank Palestinians died in al Qaeda’s triple hotel bombings in Amman

November 11, 2005, 6:49 PM (GMT+02:00)

The Palestinian Authority declared three days mourning. In the northern West Bank village, Silet al-Daher, the Akhran clan mourned 17 relatives who attended a family wedding – the first time Palestinians themselves have been targets of a suicide attack. Two PA officials, Maj.-Gen Bashir Nafeh and Abed A-Lon also lost their lives in the Grand Hyatt.

Palestinian newspaper commentator Hani al-Masri wrote: “I expect now a significant change in the Palestinian political culture. Fore sure the attacks will persuade Palestinians to reconsider this way of suicide bombings and I think it will reduce support for attacks that kill without differentiation between children, women, wedding parties and ordinary people.”

PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas said the perpetrators “are not Arabs, are not human.” He sent condolences to King Abdallah and the Jordanian people and ordered flags lowered to half-staff.

“I expect now a significant change in the Palestinian political culture. .."
As it is coming through Debka, one'd be right to doubt and disbelieve.

PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas said the perpetrators “are not Arabs, are not human.”

Can't recall Abbas ever voicing similar sentiments when Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or any of the other Palie terrorist groups kill innocent Israeli civilians....

Gee. They must be 'growing' in office. Strange new respect award goes to (dum da dum) Palestinian terrorists who think some suicide bombings were a mistake but still want to kill all Israelis. I guess that's growth of a sort.

reminds me of a joke about a married couple visiting the doctor for a physical checkup.

The doctor said that they were physically OK but if they were going to do anal sex they should not get pregnant.

On hearing that remark the husband was surprised since he knew it was impossible to get his wife pregnant via that method, he asked the doctor "Why do you say that?" thinking the doctor was just being silly.

Without batting an eyelid the doctor replied "So where do you think LAWYERS come from?".

Yeah, the towelheads are suddenly concerned with suicide bombers now that their own blood is being spilled. They could still care less for non-Islamic casualties.

I'll start protesting Arabs being blown to pieces or having their throats cut by other Arabs when I see them protesting the terrorist killing of Christians and Jews by Arabs.

As it is coming through Debka, one'd be right to doubt and disbelieve.

Debka typically tends to be more alarmist than optimistic. A report like this one, therefore, would have greater credibility to me because it comes from Debka and goes against its typical point of view. Still, without having conducted any primary research, I'm pretty skeptical about what Debka is claiming.

Murderers consider the possibility that they could also kill other murderers if the target innocents.

Hee. I know a better one. A girl was about to get married and her mother took her aside and said to her "Listen! Sometimes when a woman is in bed with her husband he wants her to do unnatural things. Remember we raised you to be a good girl. If your husband ever tells you to turn around in bed, come tell me immediately!" So they were married and enjoying themselves for some years when one night the husband asked his wife to turn around. She was scared and went to see her mother. "Ask him why he wants you to do this" the mother said. So that night when the husband asked again the wife asked him why he wanted this. "Honey" said the husband "We've been married three years now, don't you think it's time we tried for children?" Heheh. I got that from some Arab people in Jerusalem.
