We are back to keeping our eye on the ball and moving full speed ahead to make our pitch on how we believe we can elect people made from the same mold as Ronald Reagan and cut from the same cloth as the Founders. We believe this is the surest and quickest way to restore the Constitution. Restoring the Constitution is Plan A.
And do you think there is any wisdom in attempting to pursuade the pro-constitution third-parties to abandon their isolation and join the Republican Party, bringing their planks and members with them?
Our Founders had to compromise with each other to get our Charter ratified. I think the circumstances and urgency of the times would require a similar strategy. I doubt very much that there are sufficient years ahead for any third party to stand at the helm in time to keep Plan B contained.
