If during the riots in France, a "Brave" Frenchman, stood up and protected his property with a shotgun, would their laws put him in the jug?

Probably not, since I believe the French are still legally allowed to own hunting guns.

Where is the French military?

Because the French military were deployed against French citizens in the 1968 riots with controversial results, it is very difficult legally to establish martial law.

It would take a Presidential executive order, and any President who did so would lose the next election unless history showed his actions to be absolutely and incontrovertibly necessary.

I agree. People here are dissing the French - who, I agree, are very dissable - but I'm sure the same thing would happen in the US if the muzzies in Detroit started to riot.

We've already shown that white and Asian citizens, as well as Christian black citizens, do not matter (because, believe me, the Rodney King rioters and others of their ilk were not Christians - except for the ones who rushed forward and saved that truckdriver).

The most privileged class of all is the thug class, and if they're Muslims they get double points.

Good point. The people who defended their homes and businesses and the people who saved Reginald Denny were the only bright spots in that whole mess.

I wonder when the national news will report on this--and how they will report it?

Poor, downtrodded, alienated masses cry out for better existence?--or--Muslim riots mark time of extreme danger for Western European society?

Yep, it's really sad to watch them shooting themselves in the foot - repeatedly.

I believe it'll have to get a lot worse before it's seriously dealt with.

You gotta ask why, if muslims hate democracy so much, are there 33 million of them in Europe?

But where are the people defending their own property. Where is the French military?

What you have to understand is that each one of these suburbs is more or less sealed off from the rest of Paris. They were designed that way. The rioting is safely contained mostly within these suburbs and the property being torched is either government-owned or owned by the residents of theses suburbs, who are predominantly Muslim.

So, at this point, there aren't many Frenchmen getting their homes and shops burned down.

What happened to the 56 year old handicapped lady is indeed tragic but, I'm sorry; I just don't feel sorry for the French. Let them eat cake.
