We need Americans on the SC.

He also missed a chance to put a transexual dwarf on the court.

President Teddy Roosevelt once said, there is no such thing as hyphenated Americans, now all we hear about is hyphenated Americans.
Definition of melting pot is several cultures coming together and giving up their cultural differences to be one.
This is no darn melting pot. We are creating another situation where we will dissolve the United States. (Europe 2)

He also missed the opportunity to nominate an Asian. Or a Serbian. Or a Methodist. Or a deaf person. Lots of opportunities missed, all because of the fact that he was pressured by the base to pick the most highly qualified candidate.

But of course. That is all LULAC, LaRAza, etc... are about - ethnicity.

"Furthermore, Bush has...neglected the opportunity to end the 216-year shut out of Latinos on the Supreme Court a major let down to the Hispanic community."
Darn those Federalists, Whigs and Republicans - they never nominated a Hispanic!
Hmm, did I leave anyone out?
Just another professional minority oozing nonsense.

I thought it was time for a hottie with big bazoombas. You know, with Ruth on the court we need *balance*, don't we?

More of a forge these days. Your guess is as good as mine as to what shape we're being forced into.

Bush misses another opportunity to nominate a Hispanic to the Supreme Court LULAC organizational leaders to develop Diversity Score Card on Judicial Appointments, questioning Bushs commitment to diversity Orrin Hatch had Clinton ready to nominate Judge Carbenes (the best we could possibly hope for from a Dem appointment) instead of Breyer and LULAC vetoed him because he wasn't liberal enough. So LULAC can shove it.

Bush has a pretty good record for nominating Hispanics to important posts. But you can't expect gratitude from an organization like Lulac.

OK next time GWB needs to make everybody happy. The next one has to be a Hispanic Evangelical woman, preferably disabled, and preferably good looking.

He also missed an opportunity to appoint a butcher, a baker, a candlestick maker.
When will these idiots realize that the Supreme Court is not Congress.
