Brit Hume had an attorney on tonight who has known Miers since they were law clerks many years ago. He said that she is extremely intelligent, no nonsense, well educated in a fine law school; and, he listed many of her accomplishments.

That would be former Texas Democrat Congressman Martin Frost. They clerked alongside one another in Texas, he with a Liberal judge, and she with a Conservative judge.
