yep. People fail to see that it happens every time.
Turn off the base.
Base is discontent and unmotivated.
Democrats win elections.
Too bad so many here pull out the same old lines..."why don't you just vote for a democrat then!" or "are you going to let hillary get elected?"
They don't get it- it's not up to us to support the party no matter what. It's up to the party to make sure they're running the type of operation the base WANTS to support.

Funny how so many voters seem to forget that. You're heard of the willing suspension of disbelief? It happens to many voters every time there's an election. You know, the pols promise this and that. Then the voters put them back in office. Then the pols go off to Washington for a few years and totally forget their voters. Then the next election rolls around. Whereupon, the voters totally forget they've been ignored by the pols and they buy into the pols's promises once again and the cycle goes on and on. Amazing isn't it?
