sent = send.
I like spell check and do use it, but looks like I need grammar check too. ;o)
Not unlike the cover-ups of Waco, OKC, Flight 800, Elian, Fannie and Freddie (Mac und Mae), and currently Able Danger.
I have a new tagline.
shoot.....the video is down now.
"Burying this may prevent copy cats."
So let's not report any crimes or terror acts ever again. I think Carl Marx had the same idea, the assumption that people are 'blank slates', and if society raised them properly, they would all behave.
That's a great tagline!
(Relying on the MSM for news is like using suppositories for recreational purposes.)
Arg.
It's the whole yelling "fire" in a theater thing. I suspect there was some doubt about the terrorism connection and so to prevent the media from jumping to conclusions, which we most certainly did here on FR and other places like Fox News, the local officials kept things hushed until it was sorted out.
' It's the whole yelling "fire" in a theater thing. '
I disagree. I think it's shielding people from a free press. When they start these coverups, they keep it covered up. Maybe it had nothing to do with Islam? Who knows? But regardless, it's lost its legs. Now, when voters go to the voting booths, their concern for our nation's defense is incrementally perverted, every time the government meddles. Longterm, this is harmful.
Since the liberals are in control of the media, I'll have to disagree. In many cases in recent history, by the time the truth came out, a right leaning politician was already tainted by yesterday's headlines. Witness the Hurricane Katrina story- Bush ends up taking the fall for mismanagement at the city and state level. The MSM went predictably to the "Bush's Fault" headline regardless of the truth.
THX for the ping, Art. Finally, some glimmer of truth about this incident?
(I was reading a weird article about peyote use- inserting the peyote from the other end is preferable, because swallowing peyote induces vomiting- and it just seemed to fit.)
DOH! I thought this was a new article posted since the other night- I guess the blackout continues...?
Other smart ones think that the left wing media doesn't want to hurt their cause of pacifism. But frankly, that doesn't explain why talk radio and fox news are quiet about this. I didn't hear Savage either.
A lot of people are incredulous, especially the people who live there.
Looks like we are finally getting the truth about this kid and it is as bad as expected- i.e. terrorism by a Muslim-wanna-be. I agree that this would seem to be far more important than the media is letting on and like you am confused by the lack of sensationalism that would normally be afforded something like this. What is not clear is whether this was part of an organized effort by a terrorist organization- maybe that's the distinction and why there is not as much media attention? Possibly if that connection is made this will get far more attention?
"Looks like we are finally getting the truth about this kid and it is as bad as expected- i.e. terrorism by a Muslim-wanna-be."
Rick, the guest host on Savage, said the same thing.
1. There is an Islamic connection.
2. There is a suicide bomb, reportedly strapped to the suicide bomber.
3. Islamic material.
4. Moved to an apartnment just one block from a mosque.
5. Extra bombing material found at his apartment.
6. Right before the unholy day of Ramadama-dingdong.
Nah, nothing to see here. Move along.
