I really think the Republicans are getting as big a laugh out of her as we are..Or maybe Hillary gave her the FBI files.

It's blindingly obvious that Sheehan doesn't even know what a RINO is. If she did, she would know that there's been RINO's in Congress for decades and decades. The fact that certain "Republicans" will break away from the party is nothing new.

Rinos will jump ship so long as conservative media outlets continue the silence about the true level of opposition in Iraq and the true level of accomplishments.

O'Reilly was agreeing with someone last week that the USA is having a hard go of it in this war. Sixteen of 19 provinces are peaceful. Oil and electricity are at or near 100% levels; education is booming; new businesses booming; news outlets booming. Numbers of incidents of violence are primarily hate crimes against unsuspecting Shi'ite civilians

As many pointed out there are plenty of RINOs that would jump into bed with the bitch in the ditch for any number of reasons. Again this is not news.

What just struck me is that the Republican party in a sense has become what the RAT party was maybe 40 years ago.

Maybe this is what inevitably happens to a majority party.

The whole Earle/Delay thing pointed this out for me as in his younger days, instead of going after Repubs Earle went after conservative Dems as they were the "enemy" for him back in the day.

Way back when you had conservative southern democrats and you had conventional northern democrats like Daley and Kennedy and Humphrey etc. etc.

Which is why the JFK/LBJ 1960 ticket was such a shotgun wedding and one reason why they each hated each other.

Now you've got pretty much of a unified RAT party (for the most part) but you've got on the one hand the northern RINOs in the Pub party (the Shays, Snowes, Chafees, Collins and you can throw in a Hagel or a McCain for that matter) and you've got the conservative (often but not always southern) Repubs that tow the party line.

People forget sometimes how divided the RAT party was back in the day - by their very nature political parties are shifting alliances built on quicksand.

For example I think the Repubs of Lincoln's day were much more like RATS of today while the Dems of that time were much more like Repubs.

It's important to not get confused by labels.

The fact that some "Repubs" would lie down with Cindy is nothing other than business as usual.

"And yet, you're here....apparently you give enough of a tinker's damn to click on the article."

And evidently so do you. What's you're point, exactly? Do you have one?

I clicked on the article so I could post my utter disgust at this creature being the media's latest anti-Bush prop. You can't tell the difference?

My point is that I'm tired of people whining every time someone posts an article they don't like. When I see an article about a topic I'm not interested in, I just don't click. I don't jump on it and whine and complain (or as some have done, flame) because it's posted. What's the point of that? Why not just go on to one of the hundreds, thousands of other articles on Free Republic?

I don't think Cindy Sheehan said this. She might have read something written by her public relations writers that said this, but she's not intelligent enough to say these things.

Her words sound like public relations copy to me. I've been a copywriter, and I know what PR copy reads like.

Then your point is made based on a false assumption -- maybe you should think before spouting off. And you see someone whining, well then, you kick their ass, OK? Actually, you're would need to be first then, because whining's what I'm seeing from you right here and now.

I posted because, in actuality, nothing would give me more pleasure than wringing her scrawny neck, along with those of her mindless followers and scheming handlers. Lacking that, I simply vent a little on the forum. As for the other articles, **NEWS FLASH**, I see them too, and offer my comments there as well.

If you don't like that, too bad.

In other words, you click on articles you don't like so you can unload on people who might be interested in the topic? Nice.

I don't like seeing a blog posted in breaking news about Cindy's opinions..I see it has since been moved.. No matter how anti Iraq war some Republicans may be..I do not see them hitching their star to a loon like Cindy. I don't see a lot of Dems doing it either. They are divided..

I like to see her making the dems uncomfortable.

Now post one more time so you can feel like you've accomplished something, then kindly go away.

Everybody seems to think their story belongs in "breaking news," it seems.

On the one hand, I like to see her making 'Rats look worse; on the other, I hate when she spouts off and Al Jazeera airs it like she speaks for America or something. I put her in the same category as Jane Fonda during the Vietnam years.
