I can see it happening. I can see some Republicans like Chuck Hagel and Walter Jones breaking ranks with the party line. We met with a Republican yesterday – I don't want to say his name because I don't want to scare him off – but he seems to be somebody we can work with.

What gave her the idea that UpChuck Hagel was a Republican? I know people in Nebraska who would as soon tar and feather him, then lynch him, as vote for him. Hagel's finished in Nebraska, and sucking up to al-Sheehan isn't helping his position out one little bit.

Elizabeth Dole just met with Cindy - and I knew a bunch of Republicans besides McCain were scheduled to meet with her. How many Republican congresscritters met with the witch that we don't know about. At least McCain and Dole are honest and did it out in the open. These hidden meeting are just cowardly in my book.
