"'The whole world is watching," said anti-war mom Cindy Sheehan shortly before her photo-op arrest in front of the White House. Actually, despite claims by organizers that upward of 300,000 attended, news reports put the actual crowd in the "tens of thousands." The whole world wasn't watching — and don't just ask those in Texas and Louisiana awaiting Hurricane Rita.
Judging from some of the placards — "Victory to the Iraqi Resistance" and "Hands off Iran and North Korea" — it's clear many who took part in the demonstrations aren't "anti-war" at all. They are decidedly pro-war. They just back the other side — that is, the terrorists — and want the U.S. to lose."
