From a more mature point of view, no, it's not sad. It's enlightening.

Believe it or not, something good has been brought to the front from this whole Katrina ordeal. And that is that now I know with whom I'm dealing. Honest thoughts have been expressed that otherwise may not have been. Even if some were to deny it, there's no going back. There are no mulligans. Their words are on the record.

Truth is a disinfectant. And, the truth can never hurt.
