I knew of a small private school quite a few years ago that had very strict rules. Any kid that watched unacceptable TV programs (and what kind were spelled out to the parents)

my step daughter attended one of those in Arkansas. She was expelled for something very miner like going to a rated G movie.

She hasn't been to church since.

The kids who went to the school understood the rules and in general were accepting and understanding of them. I know a lot of the kids now that are grown up and have kids of their own, and they are very fond of their old teachers and have happy memories...
