This school is clearly acting in a very un-Christian manner.

It's a Christian school. The rules for attendance were clearly laid out and agreed to by the parents when they signed their daughter up to attend. It's the "lesbian" mother's fault not the school's.

There is no point in a child attending a Christian school if said child isn't being raised in a Christian home. It's a waste of everyone's time. The school isn't an evangelistic organization. It is a school for crying out loud.

If you want a Christian school that caters to children of homosexuals, open your own.

Hyperbole doesn't help your argument. I didn't say anything about "catering" to the children of homosexuals. But is it Christian behavior to turn away children from exposure to Christian teaching because their parents or guardians are sinners? I don't think so.

When I was younger, we visited a remote town in the mountains of Colorado. The only school in town was run by Benedictine Sisters. Well over 90% of the children in the town were the progeny of the local prostitutes. The sisters forbade the mothers to ply their trade or behave provocatively while at the school but they certainly did not turn the children away. IMO, that was the Christian thing to do.

And how can you judge the "Christianity" of the child? I know a guy RIGHT NOW who's wife divorced him six years ago to move in with another woman. Thanks to liberal judges, his churchgoing Christian children have to live with the lezzies five days a week, despite the fact that TWO of the three children stated flat out to the court that their mothers behavior disgusted them and that they wanted nothing to do with her. The kids visit their father every weekend, and they all attend church as a family.

Would you, in your righteous Christian fury, deny these children enrollment in a Christian school simply because their mother is an idiot? Would you deny Christian children with a Christian father access to His Word because their mother happens to be a sinner? If so, I'd suggest you reread your Bible...you seem to be missing the message.

The Bible is the only guide that should be used when evaluating matters of faith, and the Bible tells me that the actions of this school were wrong. The child is living in a house of sin, and rather than fulfilling Jesus' wish that we spread his faith to the unbelievers, the school cast her out. An innocent child has been cast into the clutches of Satan because some "Christian" administrators decided that professing His Word wasn't as important as their personal rules and convenience.

The people running this school are the real life Pharisees of our day...more concerned with their own rules and "purity" than with the love and Word of God. We all know Jesus' opinion of the Pharisees, so those who support this schools actions should think long and hard about why they do so.
