Mac: I guess it is clearly her fault. A child at any age should have sense enough to leaving loving parents if they are in a state of sin (as all are). I sense, Sam, that there is only one sin that bothers you
There is some very fuzzy reasoning going on in the above assumptions.
First, Mac assumes that children are incapable of observing the behaviors of their parents, and if those behaviors are desructive, then reaching a conclusion such as this: "I love my parents IN SPITE OF their bad behaviors but I choose NOT TO BECOME LIKE THEM."
Second, Mac assumes (at least through implication) that free will does not exist. This assumption is a cop-out used by people who refuse to accept personal responsibility for the destructive (self-centered & envious) choices they make (the pathological liar of which I previously wrote).
Third, Mac doesn't recognize that everyone has or will be victimized by someone else in this world, but in order to become a victim, you must CHOOSE to be one.
Mac comes across as a whiner because he obviously chose to be a victim. The victim mentality ALWAYS speaks with the voice of vengeance. It says: When I get control, I'm going to make them pay."
Making "straight" people "pay" is EXACTLY what the same-sex movement is all about. And they are seeking vengeance through corrupting and taking control of (turning children against their own parents) the children of straight people.
This sadistic agenda is what Mac is defending.

And this little girl didn't say that? Why do you assume she will become a lesbian? She is far less a victim of her parents' sins than of the school and it's spiteful and vengeful administration.

Never have I either stated nor implied such. I believe strongly in taking personal responsibility, but what I reject out of hand is the use of children such as the school and Mr. Parker did simply to make some extremist religious point.
Third, Mac doesn't recognize that everyone has or will be victimized by someone else in this world, but in order to become a victim, you must CHOOSE to be one.
I'm glad you recognize that fact. This thread started when you posted a completely slanted article that made Parker and his children victims. If his children were not victims of the infamous "book", then there was no reason Parker couldn't have stopped his lunatic crusade. If his children were victims of the school then either they wanted to be such, or your thesis is incorrect.
Nonetheless, when people filled with hate such as the principal of that school and Mr. Parker, purposefully victimize those who cannot fight back (children), I wonder what kind of a God would smile on them. Again, some here assume that children as collateral damage are simply a part of their and God's grand scheme.

Simply putting words on a screen doesn't make up for inability to debate intellectually or logically. None of that made any sense, nor did it even relate to the topic at hand. Most, like you folks, when you encounter intelligence, simply resort to name-calling, ridiculous ad-hominem attacks against the poster, and self righteous indignation, claiming God is with you all the way.

Well, it is you people who are turning the little girl against her parents, not me. It was Parker that would rather make a general statement about the sins of homosexuality, resulting in the likely constant humiliation of his own children and the inability for him to ever interact with them in school events. Seems like the only people to "pay" in these two cases was the children.

Well if sadism, hate, vengeance, cursing, self righteousness, pride, are examples of God's agenda, then you guys are headed to the front of the heavenly line.
