Well done Jeff.

I have wondered ever since the patients took temporary control of the asylum in Nawlins what might happen in a similar situation in say, Houston. Then again, looking at Katrina's destruction and New Orleans in particular, it's as if Murphy's Law asserted itself. A set of circumstances similar to this may be a long time occurring again....if ever.

I believe if similar conditions occurred in any other major metroplitan area contianing a large inner city, welfare oriented segment of society, regardless of race, the results would be similar.

The ingredients are a major catastrophie with any kind of general breakdown of infrastructure, basic services and law enforcement for an extended period...say 3-4 days with no immediate end in sight.
