The Lies and Hate of the Left re: New Orleans
JunkYardBlog ^ | September 3, 2005 | B Preston

A WORD ABOUT FINGER-POINTING: I'm not going to get into every outrageous thing every lefty has said since the New Orleans crisis began. They're too numerous, too unreasonable and besides, the left is really beyond the reach of facts now.

snip

There may not be time to address the left's lies later. Led by Jesse Jackson, Robert F. Kennedy Jr and a slew of other major leftists who can't win political power the legal way, a larger than reasonable number of Americans have been sniffing revolutionary airs since the crisis started. They have tried to turn hurricane Katrina into a race war.

They have blamed the crisis on everything from Bush hating blacks to the Iraq war to irrelevant budget cuts to whatever canard they could dream up. We should ask ourselves, to what end?

snip

It's fine for some to maintain the moral highground. I'd just ask them not to criticize those of us who aren't afraid to get our hands dirty if it helps get at the truth and break the left's mob mentality. Somebody has to do it, or the lies stand and could quickly take on a malignant life of their own.

The level of disrespect and hostility is truly stunning. These lowlifes can't even make a positive suggestion, only try to place blame and engage in vicious personal attacks. And the right responds with....silence.

Considering that there's certain people who purport to be conservatives on this board who are comparing our great country to a banana republic, I'm not surprised. They hate this country to begin with, and here's their big chance to turn us into a Commie paradise.

Clearly... the hurricane and the destruction of New Orleans and much of the gulf coast is the result of lack of federal funding! As was the looting and lawlessness in the aftermath... all the result of the lack of federal funding!

The lack of federal funding causes the ocean water to be warm, thus fueling hurricanes. Please, Please... funnel many more billions to the most corrupt state and city governments in the nation... and we will have no more disasters!!!! Remember... i't Bush's fault!!!!

Some kind of race war the idiot Leftists are planning. After all, their shock troops are having a hard time scraping up enough food to eat.

As to the rhetorical race war, well, that's been in full swing for decades. If New Orleans is any indication, the only winners are (as usual) the professional race hustlers and nobody else.

in addition, imagine if no state or municipality took responsibility for its future, particularly when staring down tons of water behind a concrete wall...i have no objection to the feds moving in, but they had to do so because of the incompetence of local officials.

Every time the looney-tunes leftists try to go Wile E. Coyote on President Bush, he goes Roadrunner on them! It must really suck to be a liberal!

Absolutely scathing. And rightly so.

Never more so than in New Orleans at this moment is P. J. O'Rourke's quote more applicable:

"Term limits aren't enough. We need jail."
