The are in the astrodome. I assure you they are eating their fill. We in Houston will take care of that. They have 2 hot meals, one mre, showers, clean restrooms, police security, and access to telcom.

The Bibles are a nice idea but it looks as if the Astrodome is only going to hold about 8,000 and not 25,000 so the Gideons will be able to hand out five Bibles for every evacuee, where the evacuee wants it or not. That seems like a waste of resources to me.
