They think this is a chance to "let" black people die and blame it on "Katrina".

Wow, sounds familiar. Terri Schiavo, anyone?

DU is so over the top that sometimes I think it is a giant spoof site put on by some ingenius conservative with a devilish sense of humor. It is almost beyond words.

Interesting! I just went back to DU to follow up on their threads. The moderators pulled the "America, you are being culled" thread. Golly, I wonder why?

Too late, moonbats!

Wonder why the DEMOCRAT Senators and Representatives, Governor, and Mayor of Louisiana can't share some of this blame.

The media has no problem saying "The White House and Congress slashed the Army Corps of Engineers' budget last year".

You won't hear them saying "In 1969, Democratic leaders in Congress and in Louisiana vowed to rebuild everything they could in the wake of Camille, in the same place, even though many geologists and climate experts advised against it"

"We need to AIRLIFT IN THE WATER OURSELVES

Bush and his cronies aren't going to do it. They think this is a chance to "let" black people die and blame it on "Katrina"."

It IS hard to believe people seriously believe this stuff. They couldn't be more wrong.

Wow, that is some top-notch paranoid kook rantings. Seriously, I think they have some sort of internet cabin fever over there. They lock themselves up in a world where these fevered imaginings are possible, and they just keep turning up the heat on themselves. They are way beyond politics now, and into the world of bad science fiction.

Here's another post from DU where one of their long time posters suggests that they try to gather the evidence they need to prove that Bush/Cheney/Halliburton created and steered Katrina towards New Orleans to get bad news off the front page. In other words, they have commandeered control of the entire planet's weather mechanism, and the only thing they can think to do with this awesome power is to try to influence our nation's news cycle. It is not parody:

Original message:
Don't respond w/o your TINFOIL on - "Katrina" = "another 911 for bush" ?

I think this disaster is tooo coincidental.

Everything going on was "negative for bush and for POWER" :

* Iraq is a nightmare -- the draft constitution rejected by Sunni's with potential "civil war" as a result.

* The US economy in the shitter (BS job numbers and inflation rising)

* The Housing bubble aboutr to burst with consumers extended on home equity loans -- last few months retail shopping slowing

* Oil continued to increase and people having to spend less on consumables.

* The US "economic - housing - oil induced - poor planning by govt BUBBLE" was coming home to roost.

* NOT to mention the Plame investigation and Rove "fingerprints"

What do we get :

-------------------

A "perfectly targeted devistating hurricane" at a city "below sea level which controls 25% of US energy production"

For those of you that don't know -- our Military has been working with "controlling the weather" for sometime. How HAARP works and it creates "depression's and steering" don't ask me. I know hurricanes require warm Gulf waters (August/Sept you have that).

And now:

---------

7x24 news on the hurricane -- forgetting all of the above.

I don't trust TPTB and I think more is coming that all "our woes" will now be blamed on Katrina"

IF there were anyway to find out increased "weather making activity" that steered this towards New Orleans and others I would love to know.

TPTB would do "anything" do advance thier agenda -- and the CNN "situation room" was created "just in time" -- what a "co-inkydink"

Do you think the black people in New Orleans are being punished?

by that spiteful little dick-tater for the actions of the Congressional Black caucus in Washington who have made his life uncomfortable in recent months?

Is this payback?

1. if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, .... demo mayor, demo gov....black, poor...there is more than one kind of genocide....IMHO

3. The reality

This government, doesn't give a **** about the people, least of all Black people. Moreover it's not like the Dems were pushing for anything good before this thing happened. If they cared they would have made sure things were prepared too, or at least put pressure on to make it happen. Instead they're opportunistically tagging it to Bush when they're all responsible for this horror, even if Bush is primarily responsible.

2. They are being punished for being poor and black I believe. We dropped soldiers into Afghanistan where they conducted searches in some of the roughest terrain in the world. But we can't get food to people in NO after a hurricane? So how hard are they really trying?

6. bush, inc doesn't believe the inaction will have political fallout so assured are they by the racism of white americans. however, this is really backfiring on the bastards. i just heard a guy on the radio...a two-time bush voter...who is livid about the lack of concern and action.

18. I believe Bush is intentionally dragging his feet on NO.

There's no money in helping poor people. Plus Cheney is probably trying to angle in Halliburton for rebuilding...! Why else would it take Bush this long, I'm in Fla. Jeb was here the second day, George and Jeb together the third!

These people are a TRIP.

So essentially, Bush and Rove caused a Category 5 hurricane to come and wipe out New Orleans because the area didn't vote for Bush?

Wow. I never knew they were so powerful. :eyeroll:

It's even worse than that! Some of them, as dead showed above, suspect Bush & Rove used advanced technology to create and steer storms to desired targets. Hmmmmm? Makes you wonder why Massachusetts is still on the map.....
