Much has been made in the media about the month long Bush vacation, but is a modern President really ever on vacation?

Ive got my problems with Bush but his vacation time isn't one of them. The presidents vacation isn't exactly a period of relaxation for weeks on end, it's a working vacation.

I would also point out that congress has been on vacation for longer.

The Left complains when the President and working. The Left complains when our president is in Texas (not) working. These people won't sut up no matter what no matter what. Why do they think their opinion is important anyway?
