Support the Troops!

Those of you who visit this site on a regular basis know that I feel the Left is constantly spinning the Iraq war in new ways to try to chip away at the Bush administration. They have done so at the expense of our service men and women and at the expense of the facts. It is time to turn away from the bickering over the old worn out themes that they keep trying to keep fresh in our minds and focus on the task at hand. We have courageous men and women fighting for what they believe in and they need our support to see this trough.

The Left is always trying to draw a comparison between Iraq and Vietnam. We all know that political restraints kept us from properly executing that war, and ultimately our military was not allowed to fight to win. We must not fall prey to this ideology again. President Bush is committed to winning the war in Iraq and the war on terror. The troops know his commitment, but the constant negative spin by the MSM has got to wear on them. Regardless of how we feel about how we got to this point, it is critical that we see this through to victory. The men and women who have died to date sacrificed everything for a war they though was worth it. We must not let their efforts have been in vain, we must support the cause they died for and support the troops that are fighting there now until they win.
