This is Unrealist Retort #457:

Q: What if the United States were invaded by another nation? What they overthrew your leaders and imposed the sort of government they liked? What if their soldiers were driving through your streets telling people what to do?

CMAR II, you are a patriotic American. So what would you do about that? Wouldn't you rise up and throw the invaders out?

This is just the sort of question I would expect from an Unrealist. Let me ask a similar question:

Q: If a doctor tried to inject you with morphine and cut open your chest would you:

Try to defend yourself OR Thank him for saving your life

A: That would depend on whether or not I was having a heart attack. The difference in my medical condition would determine whether this hypothetical doctor was Jack the Ripper or Dr Kildare.

Milosevic did what I would have done when he was invaded by the Islamists. Once NATO joined bin Laden's jihad it was pretty hopeless for them so I understand why they had to surrender at that point.

We have had an invasion of illegal aliens for years and have done nothing about it. And I don't think we ever will. Or perhaps when it is too late.

Add to that rebuilding for free the infrastructure, giving people for the first time the right to vote and then pulling out to let them run the nation as they want with the promise of more aid to come. Sounds pretty good to me.

Never happen. If Hollywood made a remake of Red Dawn the Commies would be the good guys. The Islamists might be their faithful allies. It would be like the comic book published a few years back where Superman comes to Earth, lands in the USSR and grows up to impose Communism on the whole world, including the United States.
