This is similar to the Train Deaths that occurred in Mena, Arkansas, in 1987. I'm not saying that every issue here is the same, but any stonewalling by LEOs in a murder invesigation automatically brings that Mena case to my mind.

I am not trying to indict the police, but it really seems like a bad deal. I come down on the side of law enforcement more times than not. I praise them when they do a good job and when there is corruption, bribery or thuggery I will be the first one to throw them under the bus. Do you have a link for Mena case?

Those poor boys! I read about an investigation into those murders, where the reporter was killed for looking into them.
All I can say, if that was my son, and nobody wanted to bring those responsible to justice - I would show them so ole fashion American justice.
