They couldnt have POSSIBLY known the situation within the port itself. There could have been equivalent to a platoon of terrorists waiting for them. Besides that would be invading a country we are currently NOT at war with. The Naval captain did the EXACT right thing by getting out dodge. His ship was intact, his people were unhurt, his perogative was to get moving. Let the Jordanians figure it out.
